Evaluation of compression load frames for testing concrete cubes
Originally designed by the British Cement Association this system comprises a strain cylinder of 2000 Kn capacity, a four channel digital readout unit and software for data processing and analysis.
Used to evaluate the performance/stability of compression load frames for testing concrete cubes. The hardened steel strain cylinder is fitted with four balanced strain gauge bridges each designed to be monitored by a separate panel meter. The digital meter has "freeze" facility, calibration facility and zero adjustment and the Windows download software calculates the measured strain ratios.
Included Accessories
The instrument consists of a strain cylinder, 4-channel read-out, auxiliary hardened steel loading platen, 6mm spacing slips, mains lead, connecting lead, instruction manual and software templates.
Additional Services
Calibration can be arranged, as an option, by the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) in the UK
