 ULTRASONIC PULSE VELOCITY TEST EQUIPMENT

The PUNDIT family of Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity (UPV) instruments is accepted by users throughout the world, as the industry standard for non destructive concrete testing. They measure time taken by a pulse of ultrasound to pass through the material under test. By taking a series of readings, it is possible to detect the presence of cracks, voids and other imperfections. A wide range of accessories enables the PUNDIT family to be used in a variety of applications testing many different materials.

The instruments are primarily used for the testing of concrete, timber, ceramics, geological specimens, refractory materials, carbon electrodes and cast iron

 The PUNDIT PLUS

Pundit Plus

The Pundit Plus takes advantage of the latest microprocessor technology to meet today’s increasing demands for accuracy, reliability and ease of use. With advanced functionality, it can provide users with figures for transit time, path length, velocity and elastic modulus. The Instrument has a memory storage facility, built it RS232 output and is supplied with free PC download software.

 The PUNDIT 6

Pundit 6

The Pundit 6 is a simple rugged and reliable instrument with a first class worldwide reputation. Ideal for educational, factory or laboratory use or for those simply requiring an indication of the ultrasonic pulse transit time.

 Ultrasonic Accessories

We stock a whole range of ultrasonic transducers, exponential probes, wheel probes, attenuators, amplifiers and other accessories to facilitate testing

 ERUDITE

The ERUDITE is an electronic resonant frequency test system used by quality control and research departments to determine the dynamic moduli of elasticity and rigidity of sample blocks of concrete. The ERUDITE automatically measures the fundamental longitudinal, torsional and transverse resonant frequencies. It also calculates the damping constant Q.

Primarily used for testing concrete, ceramics, refractories, stone, rock, carbon, graphite
